Raise your hand if you actually know how to cut asparagus….
Well if you raised your hand, consider yourself smarter than I. Because aparently I’ve been living under a rock. Or maybe I’ve just never cut aspargus before? Either way, the other day I was dying for some. That was about the time I decided to get adventurous with my grilled chicken, and so I decided to sautee some up with my chicken. It was about this time I realized that I didn’t actually know how to cut asparagus. I mean do you eat the white part? I couldn’t remmeber. It seems all of my asparagus eating in the pass had slipped my mind, because I just couldn’t remember.
Well in situations like this I do one of two things. I either call my mom or google it. My mom is my first resource, but sometimes it seems she has more important things going on in her life than my asparagus emergencies. (How dare she, right!?) Well thank goodness for dear ole Goggle. With one quick google search, my question was answered and I was one step closer to my asparagus eating.
