One of my favorite meals growing up was when my mom would let us each make our own little pizzas. They were the simplest things for her to make, considering we did the majority of the work actually adding the toppings and such. Plus they are quick and delicious!
Remembering this a few weeks ago, I decided to have some friends over to make some with me. Everyone brought a topping, ranging from pepperoni to diced ham and bacon, and we used little biscuits from the can as well as pizza sauce and cheese.
They were fun for us to make, even in our twenties, and just as declious as I remember!
Here are the simple directions:
- Spread out a single biscuit on a baking sheet. Spread as thin and as big as you desire, without letting the biscuit rip.
- Spread the sauce. Be generous!
- Top with as many toppings as you wish, as well as cheese.
- Bake in the oven according to the directions on the biscuit can.
- Enjoy!
I even enjoyed the left-over pizzas the next day for lunch. Nothing like cold pizza!
