At the beginning of the year I spent almost two weeks in France. Paris to be more specific. There are a few things everyone should know about the French before trekking across the world to visit them. There are as follows:
- They are more fashionable than you will ever be.
- They love their Eiffel Tower. And they love to sell any sort of merchandise with the Tower prominently placed on it.
- They love Nutella. They will put it on anything. And everything.
I left that country swearing I’d never even look at Nutella again. I swore it off. There are only so many late night Nutella crepes a woman can handle. And yet, here I am, 10 months later craving Nutella. Who would have thought it?
So, a few days ago, my friend and I got a brilliant idea. We were going to make Nutella croisants. Authentically and quintesientially French. And boy what a great idea was! We really should have ideas like that more often.
So simple, so delicious those croisants were. So perfect. Literally all that you do, is roll up as much Nutella as your heart desires inside a croissant, and bake according to the directions on the croissant package. Let me to advise you to do this as soon as possible. You will thank me later.
